No stranger to headlines, Bobby Brown has been in the press from his wife’s tragic death to that of his daughter’s death over the last few years. With the stress of that combined with a string of biopics and media drama, there seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel for the ‘Poison’ singer.
Proving why he is the ‘King of R&B,’ Brown has found a way to channel all the negativity over the years into a positive outlet, the Bobby Kristina Serenity House, which he founded in 2015. A place that he describes as a getaway from domestic violence while providing victims with the education to move forward in life, is a non-profit organization dedicated to his late daughter.
Not yet a place of residence, Brown says that a building is being built and will unveil more details on the plans of the Bobby Kristina Serenity House, Monday July 30th along with Atlanta officials including the mayor of South Fulton, Bill Edwards.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports Brown said in a statement, “Our family lives with the pain every day of losing my beautiful daughter, Bobbi Kristina, to domestic violence. She loved Atlanta, and, in her memory, we are proud to announce the formation of the Bobbi Kristina Serenity House. Our initial goal is to help educate women and men of all ages, by creating a 24-hour crisis intervention line and emergency transitional shelter.”
This seems to be the perfect ending and new being for Bobby Brown.
Will you be visiting the establishment when finished?! Let us know!!
